Moroccan oil, or argan oil, is harvested from the nut of the fruit of the argan tree. This tree grows in
only one region of the entire planet – in the desert-like region of southwestern Morocco. Berber
women have used the argan tree for centuries as a supplement to their own beauty and vitality,
using both the nuts and fruit for their hair, skin and nails, as well as cooking with the fruit and
even using the argan wood to flavor their cooking.
